SHERBASE IS HERE AGAIN!

Hey everyone, welcome back to our articles.  Today we have a BIG issue:  SHERBASE IS HERE TO CANCEL Gacha AGAIN!  Lina Cute Kitty, a gacha-tuber, posted a warning on her community tab.

In case you didn't know, Sherbase 12 is a Youtube channel that supports the UTTP, or the U-Tube Troll Police.   In late June and July, they were targeting Furry Animators and Gacha-tubers, and hacking as much people as they can.  Their goal was to remove all "Gacha-tards" in the YouTube community.  

How do they hack?

If you didn't know, Sherbase hacks through the Discord app/website.  They impersonate Discord staff members, and tell you that there are sign-in attempts in your account.  They tell you that they 'side-work' with Youtube as well, and to enter your 'youtube account email address'.  

Now, this doesn't make sense, especially if your email used for Discord is different from your Youtube accounts.  Why would they need your Youtube account?  This doesn't make sense.  Also, you would probably receive an email with a sign in attempt notice on it on your email.

How to stay safe:

• Turn on 2-Step Verification.  How does 2-Step verification work? When you sign in to your account on a new device, or just sign in at all, it sends a notification with a verification code to the device with your phone number or backup email address is logged in to.  If you get a verification code when you aren't trying to sign in to your email, the person won't be able to log in because they won't see the code.
• Check what devices are logged in to your account.  Log out on those you don't use any more.
• Don't tell anyone your email address, even if its a popular gacha-tuber you know.  They could've been hacked, and Sherbase could be using their account.
• Create a backup youtube account from a different email address.

Gacha Ethan and another gacha-tuber saw a discord message from a hacked account, saying "Wave 2 is coming."
